Governmental agencies have also had their role in pushing through MVP permits and facilitating construction.

  • Department of Transportation/Pete Buttigieg- The Department of Transportation and Pete Buttigieg oversee PHMSA (the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration. The PHMSA is the administration that can prevent MVP from going into service based on safety concerns.
